Allegro

Allegro Strings is a versatile string ensemble made up of highly skilled and experienced musicians who delight listeners with their interpretations of a vast repertoire of music. From Bach to Broadway, Pop to Pachelbel, Allegro can provide just the right music for any occasion and in any setting.

Allegro’s primary group consists of a string quintet – two violins, viola, cello and bass. This unique combination provides a dimension not available to string quartets, with the bass used as the rhythm section for pop, standard and jazz selections. It contributes to the versatility of the group, allowing for a wider range of instrument combinations. Depending on the venue, event and musical choices, various instrument combinations can be hired, from a duo to the full quintet.
