Claudia Lopez

Claudia Lopez is a Cuban-American, Miami born and raised singer. From an early age, Claudia showed a strong affinity towards music, growing up, she learned to play the guitar and piano amongst other instruments. At the age of 10, Claudiahad written her first song and found her passion in songwriting, since then, she began her journey to learn as much about music as she could. After high school, she received a scholarship to Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts where she honed her craft. After returning to Miami and receiving her associates degree, Claudia Lopez was accepted to University of Miami Frost School of Music’s Jazz Vocal Program. Here, she furthered her music education and developed her love for Jazz. Claudia Lopez received her bachelor’s degree from University of Miami and is now working on her first Album as a solo recording artist. Claudia has had the opportunity to work amongst many talented musicians including Grammy Award Winner and 5x Nominee Dr. Ed Calle, Jose Negroni, Nomar Negroni, Federico Britos, Arturo Sandoval, Bobby Cruz and Cesar Lopez from the Habana Ensemble. Claudia is a versatile musician who can perform a large variety of musical styles from Musical Theatre, Jazz and Blues, to Salsa and Latin-Jazz. Although her album is within the Pop/R&B genre, you can feel the influence of her Latin roots and her Jazz education.
