GLeNN BLaKK, the NY born, Miami raised DJ, TV/Radio Personality and Artist started in music behind the turntables as a teen spinning Dancehall and Hip-Hop music for then employer, VP records. He moved cross faders between the vinyl capturing the attention of underground dancehall stations eventually being picked up as a frequently featured guest on the legendary Sounds of the Caribbean radio show aired worldwide on WLRN and hosted by the late Clint O’Neil. From there, the turntables took him into living rooms all over the US, South America and the Caribbean through a TV show called The Roof where once a week the theme was Dancehall meets Reggaeton. His Caribbean heritage would also come in useful in future TV hosting jobs including Caribbean Diaspora Weekly on SFL-TV. GLeNN BLaKK who briefly performed and recorded under the name LoneSoulJAH focused on showing the world his talents as an artist making use of his astonishing vocabulary, melodic delivery and a tongue that flips from Standard English to Jamaican patios as swiftly as Usain Bolt crossing a finish line! Thus, far he’s impressed crowds, performing and or recording with international acts such as Alexander Star, Calibe, Mr. Vegas, Gunplay, Wayne Wonder, KRS1, Freddie McGregor Fat Boy Cash and Half Pint as well as Kymani Marley’s band!
